Brooke Skaggs, Esq.
Brooke leads the property management, estate planning, and probate representation for Warren & Skaggs, PLLC. For more than ten years, she has helped clients secure possession and succession of their real property.
She started her legal career more than fifteen years ago in criminal defense. Beginning in 2011, for two years she ventured into tax law compliance consulting for municipal securities for some of the largest non-profit companies and organizations in the U.S. In 2013, she and Jerry Warren teamed up and have represented clients throughout Florida in Landlord/Tenant law, Estate Planning, Probate, Business law, Civil litigation, and Family law for more than ten years.
Brooke earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and has been a licensed attorney in Florida since 2010 and in Michigan since 2025. She is a Florida Supreme Court–certified mediator for Family Court and County Court matters and a Florida-approved arbitrator. In 2025, Brooke completed the required coursework and is a candidate for CFP® certification.
Brooke also volunteers for the Orange County Legal Aid Society’s Guardian Ad Litem program, representing children in the dependency system. When not practicing law, Brooke can often be found kayaking on Florida’s many beautiful waterways and at local running events benefiting charities throughout Central Florida.
Jerry Warren, Esq.
Jerry has been representing clients in civil litigation in Florida since 2010. In 2011, he expanded his legal practice into a role as general counsel for a multimillion dollar securities law compliance firm with several national clients. Since founding Warren & Skaggs, PLLC in 2013, he has represented a multitude of clients in real estate, business, administrative, family, and general civil litigation. His clients vary from international companies to neighbors and friends. With offices in North and Central Florida, Jerry represents clients throughout the entire state.
Jerry graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville, earning dual-degrees. Upon earning his bachelor degrees, he attended the Florida State University College of Law where he earned the degree of Juris Doctorate. Jerry is admitted to the Florida Bar, United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the United States Tax Court. He is a certified county and family court mediator and a Florida approved arbitrator.
